For our 5th season performing as part of the “Music at the Beach” Concert Series, we’re pleased to return with a blend of new selections along with many familiar favorites. This is a show we look forward to every summer. Dear Friends, Business Members, and Civic Organizations, My name is Kevin Lopes, and I’m writing to invite you to the Crystal Community Club’s 18th Annual Halloween Monster Bash, featuring the North Shore’s own Hot Tub Piranhas, on Saturday, October 31st. This fun-filled evening supports the Golden Givings Gift Giving Program. Golden Givings is a program I started nearly 18 years ago to bring comfort and kindness to elderly residents in local nursing homes. As a law enforcement officer, I’ve seen firsthand how many seniors—especially during the holidays—feel lonely and forgotten. A simple gift can make a powerful difference. In our first year (2008), we delivered over 200 gifts. Since then, Golden Givings has grown to more than 25,000 gifts delivered over 17 years. Over time, the program has expanded to help abused and neglected children, Boys & Girls Clubs, Toys for Tots, hospitalized children, families in shelters, the homeless, and those in hospice care. Each year, the need continues to grow. To meet this demand, we host the Halloween Monster Bash as a fundraiser—and we are asking for your support.
